Canada’s Centre for Contemporary Ceramics
The AGB’s contemporary visual art program is collaboratively developed and delivered by a Program Team that is led by Denis Longchamps, PhD., Chief Curator, and includes the Curator of the Permanent Collection, Jonathan Smith, M.F.A. and Leslie Page, Curator of Education.
Curatorial objectives are achieved through a series of exhibitions over a number of years rather than any in one fiscal period.
Our visual arts program has three areas of focus:
- Contemporary Canadian ceramic art
- Contemporary visual artists in the region
- Seven resident art and craft guilds
