Visitor Guidelines:

We are doing our utmost to create a safe environment for guests to enjoy, but the risk remains and we ask that you consider your decision to visit the AGB carefully before you enter the building. If you feel ill or have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 please stay home to prevent the spread of the virus. Click here to take Ontario’s COVID-19 Self Assessment.

Both the Brock and Lakeshore entrances will be open July 2, 2020 at 12 PM.

The number of visitors allowed in the AGB at once will be limited to enable social distancing. Please abide by maximum visitor limits in each space as posted. Occasionally you may experience a short wait-time before you can enter a room.

Wearing a mask or face shield is recommended as some passageways are not conducive to physical distancing.

No food or drink is permitted in the gallery.

At this time, our studios will be available exclusively to members of the Guilds of Arts Burlington and by appointment only.

Steps we’re taking to Ensure your Visit is Safe:

Hand sanitizer is available at all entrances and exits for public use. Additional hand sanitizer stations can be found in visible locations though out the building.

All facilities, studios, exhibitions, and washrooms have a frequent regular sanitization routine (high touch zones).

We will disinfect electronic devices, equipment, keys (terminals, POS,etc.), items, and packaging in the shop after each use.

The AGB is committed to doing our part to protect the health and wellbeing of our community, and we are grateful for your continued support and understanding during this time.

Stylo Starr_Edna Mae Robinson

89DAMES explores the beauty of Black women from the so-called ‘glamorous’ era of the 1950’s and 1960’s. Stylo Starr strives to commemorate and preserve the light and beauty of a myriad of Black women from the past, in a current social climate that insists, rather, on demonizing and marginalizing contemporary Black women.
