Lore is a body of knowledge we build for ourselves. The myths, legends and other stories brought forward in this exhibition represent a diverse range of narratives and histories. From mythical beasts to historical figures, from playful stories to the difficult accounts, from the personal to the public, this collection of works is as varied as the
as theguilds they represent.
LORE tells the story of the AGB. This is not the end of the story, nor is it the beginning. It is the turning point – the most exciting and revealing part of a story.
This annual exhibition celebrates the work of members from our guilds, including the Fibre Arts Guild, Burlington Fine Arts Association, Burlington Handweavers and Spinners Guild, Latow Photographers Guild, Burlington Potters’ Guild, Burlington Rug Hooking Craft Guild, and the Burlington Guild of Sculptors and Woodcarvers.
Soft open of this exhibition is April 20, official opening & exhibition reception will be held on April 26.
